Why does LetItLog need notification access?
On Android, Google Pay doesn’t offer a public API for purchase history. LetItLog uses notification access only to read payment alerts so it can log expenses for you. That permission is for expense logging — nothing else.
Where is my data stored?
Your transactions live in a local database on your phone. There is no account cloud sync for expenses. You can export and import a backup file when you need to move devices.
What does the AI do?
Voice logging and monthly coaching tips go through LetItLog’s own API proxy so the OpenAI key never ships in the app. Numbers in reports are computed on your device; AI only gets a structured summary for soft advice.
Is LetItLog on iPhone?
Android ships first (Google Pay + voice notification). iOS support is planned via Shortcuts / App Intents — not notification listening — so capture stays platform-native.
How much does it cost?
One paid tier with a 7-day trial, then subscription. Catalog prices are $4.99/month or $41.88/year. Billing runs through Google Play or the App Store with RevenueCat managing entitlements, so store-localized prices apply.
Can I fix a bad parse?
Yes. Every capture path is still editable: add, edit, or delete any expense manually if Google Pay text or voice got something wrong.
